Perennials

Perennials form the foundation of every blooming flower bed. They give the garden color and structure for many years, and once well-established, they do not require complicated care. Many of them are excellent for full sun and can handle drier conditions, which is why they are ideal for natural and steppe-style plantings. Their flowers also attract life into the garden. Bees, bumblebees, and butterflies will find food in your garden from spring until the first frosts. Dried stalks and flower heads then provide a safe shelter for beneficial insects over winter, while the seeds attract birds. When planning your garden, choose plants that bloom sequentially and complement each other. Larger flowers with striking centers look great next to airy clusters and more delicate blooms. Most of the perennials we grow can also be cut for a vase, so you can easily take a piece of your blooming garden home with you.
